Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are used to make websites work or work more efficiently, and to provide information to site owners.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies for several reasons detailed below. In most cases, there are no standard options for disabling them without affecting site functionality. If you are unsure whether you need them, we recommend leaving them enabled so the services you use can work.
3. Types of cookies we use
Essential cookies
These are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set when you take actions such as saving privacy preferences, logging in, or completing forms. You can configure your browser to block them or show alerts, although some parts of the site may stop working.
Performance cookies
They allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve site performance. They help us understand which pages are most and least popular and how visitors move around the site. The information collected is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you block them, we will not know when you have visited the site.
Functionality cookies
They allow the site to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services are integrated into our pages. If you block them, some services may not function properly.
Targeting cookies
Our advertising partners may set them to build a profile of your interests and show relevant adverts on other sites. They do not directly store personal information; they rely on identifying your browser and device. If you block them, you will see less personalized advertising.
4. Controlling cookies
You can control or delete cookies whenever you wish. You can remove those already on your device and configure most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do, you may need to adjust some preferences each time you visit a site, and some services may not work.
5. Cookies and storage used by V2
Currently, the V2 site uses a first-party cookie to remember the selected region. Accessing the admin panel may also set an admin session cookie.
- calupoh_region — remembers the selected region (Global, Mexico, or Spain / EU) for seven days.
- Admin session cookie — keeps an authenticated admin session active and is only set after sign-in.
The visual theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. Google Analytics is not currently active on V2.
6. More information
We hope this has clarified things. If you are unsure whether you need a cookie, it is usually safer to leave it enabled, as it may be required for a feature you use on the site.
